Group Managing Director
Mark and his wife Anita founded the business in 1990, starting from a petrol station in Warrington. The business soon grew and in 1992 gained the Mitsubishi franchise for the Wirral area. In 2001 they added the Lexus franchise to the business and opened the doors here at Cheshire Oaks on Valentine’s Day 2001. Mark takes a very keen and personal interest in all aspects of the day to day running of the business and is always personally available for every customer to speak with when required.
Involved in the initial set up of the Mitchell Group in 1990, Neil has now gained a wealth of experience in the retail motor industry. With a passion for cars and technical specification, he encourages the whole team to focus on delivering the best customer experience through their knowledge. Neil has a desire to develop a solid after-sales experience which in turn will create advocates for all aspects of Lexus Chester. He has regular contact with the directors and senior management of Lexus Division in the UK and represents Lexus Chester on a number of national Lexus working groups. With a hands on approach, he is personally available to any customer when required.
Julie joined the senior management team in 1998 and soon afterwards became a Finance Director for the group. She has won many National Industry Awards for financial controls which she is very proud of. Her ability to produce final accounts just days after month ends allows Lexus Chester to analyse and adapt where necessary to changes in the market. Besides the accounts and looking after her immediate team she is totally involved in all aspects of the business and can be seen regularly by customers and suppliers alike. Her department handles over £37 million per year!
Group marketing and Communications Manager
After nearly 9 years at the helm of Lexus Chester Ian has moved into a Group role within he business looking after the marketing and communications for the Mitchell Group. As ever before Ian is available anytime to meet with or communicate with any and all of our Lexus customers.
Ian began working for prestige dealerships at the tender age of 18, developing a strong understanding of all departments involved in the motor trade. After 15 years with a leading German brand, he joined Lexus in 2007, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge. He is very highly regarded by Lexus Division in the UK. He is always pleased to assist any of his team to ensure a great customer experience.
After Sales Administrator
Jane loves the after-sales side of our business. She has experience on the front service desk at Lexus Chester and has now moved to a customer service role, primarily in assisting customers in maintaining their cars to the highest standard. She ensures that MOT’s, services and any advised work is not forgotten. Her attention to detail and organisation means she is always busy and takes pride in her work.
Sue is a senior member of Julie Oliver’s team and having worked for her since 2004, she knows every aspect of the business. From inputting financial information to dealing with suppliers and credit control she handles over £10 million for Lexus Chester every year. Always bubbly and never without a calculator, Sue always helps everyone whether it’s a member of staff or a customer. She can be seen at all Lexus events.
Assistant Sales Manager
After many years working for other manufactures, Alan joined Lexus Chester in 2005 to enter the prestige car market. He has probably the best knowledge of Lexus hybrid drive in the country. With a friendly, fun attitude he is able to chat and relate to most customers and has a youthful approach with the team. He is now involved in all aspects of the sales department and particularly enjoys ordering new vehicles in fun colours.
Jason is loved by his customers and since joining us in 2008 has seen many return. Beneath his personal relaxed approach he has great product knowledge, and will allow you all the time required to make the purchase of your next Lexus an exciting and memorable experience. Jason has the record for the longest ever handover at 6hrs 15 minutes!
Lexus Service Manager
Phil joins us with over 10 years of after sales management experience, predominently within the premium sector of the motor retail industry. Phil's passion for customer satisfation ensures your Lexus is in the best possible hands.
Tom joined Lexus Chester as a parts advisor at the age of 21. Working closely with the service department he showed great enthusiasm for Lexus and as a result was promoted in 2011 to the service desk as an advisor. His helpful and friendly manner means that all your service requirements will be dealt with efficiently by Tom.
Louise works with Angela 3 days a week and again makes sure that any customer visiting Lexus Chester is comfortable and relaxed. As with Emma she is passionate about the presentation of the centre and makes sure it’s always in tip top condition. She has worked with Lexus as a host for over 13 years which is the longest time of any Lexus centre in the whole country.
John has worked for the group since 2001 and is primarily in charge of Lexus Parts, stock and distribution. He has a fantastic ability to memorize part numbers without the aid of a computer! We have tried to encourage him to get out more… but he just can’t prise himself away from the parts department! With 20 years parts experience and a consistent approach to delivery of parts on time he will always be on hand to assist with any enquiry.
Group Service Manager
Mick moved from the south east in 2003 and joined Lexus Chester as service manager. He developed a strong team with his ‘can do’ attitude and is now Group Service Manager. He works closely with the senior after sales management at L D and will always be available to deal with any customer enquiry if required. He is keen to make sure our workshop is the best equipped, most efficient and staffed with like minded professionals.
Group Parts Manager
After many years experience in other parts departments in the area, Steve joined Lexus Chester as Parts Manager in 2005. With 20,000 parts in stock and an increased volume of cars, he has adapted his team well to maintain excellent customer service. The keen passion the team has for efficient stock profile and management ensures they will usually have 97% of all parts in stock and available on any one day.
Steve is now one of the longest standing sales specialists in the Lexus UK network. He’s seen 9 product launches, understands the ethos behind the brand completely and always searches for the latest Lexus news from around the world. His passion for Lexus is infectious and all of his immediate family drive a Lexus! With a huge amount of repeat customers he’s always very busy and is showing no signs of slowing down. He’s seen regularly around lunchtime with a copy of The Times under his arm but will always make himself available for a customer.
Vehicle Preparation Manager
Adam has worked for 10 years at Lexus Chester in preparing cars for sales and customers. He oversaw the building of our £500k vehicle preparation centre in 2008 and now has a team of 14 staff. He manages the purchasing and environmental controls for the products we use. His department will clean over 15,000 sales and serviced cars this year, so whilst Adam is very busy he always has time to look at improving the service and quality his department offers. He hates dirty cars!
